2019 Lamar County S.A.F.E.T.Y. Match

The 2019 Lamar County 4-H S.A.F.E.T.Y. was a great success and we would like to thank everyone that participated, volunteered, and visited the Lamar County 4-H Shooting Sports Complex.  We would like to start by thanking the Lamar County Board of Supervisors for providing the excellent facilities and the unwavering support they show our 4-H program.  Without them, none of this would be possible.  We would like to thank all the Extension Agents, 4-H Shooting Sports Certified Volunteers, parents, and youth that contributed to the success of this event.  Many hours of hard work by county employees, volunteers, parents, Extension Agents, and many many more go into this event.  Without each and every one of you, this event wouldn't go as smoothly or as quickly as it does. 

We consider ourselves lucky for the weather to have cooperated as well as it did.  Unfortunately we are unable to control that aspect but feel it could have been much worse with the forecast.  We hope you enjoyed your time at our facility and hope you can join us again for a future event.
